Dhaka bringing back 159 nationals from Naypaydaw

159 Bangladeshi human trafficking victims, who were rescued by Burmese Navy, were brought back to Bangladesh on August 10, at about 2:00pm, according to Lieutenant Colonel Md Robiul Islam, commander of 17 BGB Battalion of Cox’s Bazar.

Abducted BGB officer returning home after 8 days

Abducted Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) officer Abdul Razzak was handed over to a team, led by 42 BGB Battalion Commanding Officer Lt Col Abu Jar Al Zahid on June 25, at about 5;30 pm, after a five-hour-long flag meeting between the two neighboring countries –Burma and Bangladesh- forces in Maungdaw, Arakan State, Burma, according to BGB Cox’s Bazar Sector Deputy Commander Major Aminul Islam press briefing.
