BGB arrest 22-Rohingya at Bangladesh-Burma border

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) from Gumdum camp arrested twenty-two Rohingyas and pushed back to Burma on April 21, Kadir Hussain, a local from Ukhiya said.
The Rohingyas were arrested from the Betbonia area of Gumdum on April 20 in morning after being conducted operation while entering the Bangladesh illegally, according to BGB official.

Hossain Juhar from Kutupalong Rohingya refugee said, the Rohingya crossed Burma-Bangladesh border to visit the refugee camp where their relatives stay in the camp. But, some others came to Bangladesh for medical treatment as the Rohingya people don’t get proper treatment from the Burmese government.

However, Lt. Col. Imran Ullah Sharkar from Cox’s Bazar Battalion No. 17 said, they arrested Rohingyas from the Gumdum locality and pushed back to Burma again on April 20 in the evening after giving some aids.
