Refugee wounded in Teknaf car accident

Teknaf, Bangladesh: In a car accident of Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar high way road, on March 15, 3-passenger was killed and wounded 25 passengers including one refugee from Leda camp, according to Rohim, a relative of the victim from the camp. “The accident was occurred when a CNG taxi and a microbus collided face to face after failing breaks on the No.14 Bridge of the Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar high way, at about 3:00pm.”
The victim is identified as—Rahul Amin (25), son of Mohamed Ibrahim, hailed from C-Block, Room # 349, of Leda un-official refugee camp in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar District, and the report was confirmed by Hafez Ayub, the Leda camp Chairman.
Besides, a Rohingya woman Salma Khatoon (45), from Borotoli of Teknaf was also wounded, a local Dildar said.
All the critically wounded passengers were sent to Cox’s Bazar General Hospital for medical treatment, said Abu, a trader from the locality.
