Nasaka kidnaps 10 Bangladeshi fishermen

Maungdaw, Arakan State:  Nasaka (Burma’s border security force) kidnapped ten Bangladesh fishermen today morning while they were fishing in the Naff River of Bangladesh water territorials, said a fisherman from Shapuri Dip.
“The Bangladesh fishermen were kidnapped while fishing in the Naff River by Nasaka.”

After the arrest, they were brought to the Nasaka headquarters under Kawar Bill of Maungdaw Township for more interrogations and detained there.

The local Bangladeshi people of Shapuri Dip said that why the Burmese Nasaka forces kidnapped our fishermen while fishing in Bangladesh waters.

The Nasaka is from the Nasaka area No.7 of Maungdaw Township, said a villager of Maungdaw south.

Earlier, the Nasaka force kidnapped many Bangladeshi fishermen and some were released after taking money, and some were sent to jail.
